SUMMARY

The Sam’s Xpress® Car Wash Marketing Team is looking to hire a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team and support the growth of our department. The Marketing Assistant will support the execution of marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and commercial business. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in daily operations, including promotions, advertising, customer retention, loyalty, and B2B (Business to Business) initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Relations, or Communications is preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in a marketing, sales, or customer service role
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Comfortable with data entry, reporting, and analysis of data.
  • Ability to pass preemployment screenings, including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).
  • Ability to travel to and attend events and engagements.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate events outside of standard business hours.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the creation and execution of seasonal and promotional campaigns (online and onsite).
  • Coordination with vendors to assure the creation and delivery of promotional or general marketing assets.
  • Monitor and report on monthly and promotional performance metrics.
  • Support execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Assist with content creation and direction.
  • Help manage outreach efforts to local businesses in the markets we serve for the Sam’s Xpress® Fleet Program.
  • Support growth initiatives for the Sam’s Xpress® Fleet Program.
  • Maintain fleet leads/inquiries, follow up with prospects via email or phone, and schedule meetings.
  • Support the onboarding and continued account management of Fleet customers.
  • Assist with customer communications for ongoing and upcoming marketing projects.
  • Help create, send, and track email/SMS campaigns.
  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews; assist with followup or reputation management.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, promo schedules, and campaign timelines.
  • Maintain Marketing support tickets and work with the team to ensure site resolutions are provided.
  • Assist with competitor research and market trends.
  • Attend events or represent the brand at local sponsorships or community activations.
  • Ensure listing sources are up to date and accurate.
  • Other duties assigned by your supervisor or the Director of Corporate Brand.

  • This position will work at the corporate office as well as occasionally outdoors for some events.
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible fulltime schedule, including working evenings and weekends as needed.
  • This position may require some travel.
  • Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation. Current hours of operation are 7days a week, 7:30 am9 pm, closing only on December 25th
