Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Marketing Assistant in a fast-paced, forward thinking group of companies within the guitar industry, compromising of The Guitar Marketplace & Fat Bottom Guitars.
The ideal candidate will complete various marketing related tasks, and will be competent at developing the brands presence online, staying up to date with the latest marketing technologies and trends. The candidate will be required to competently complete marketing tasks ranging from social media management, paid advertising, to email marketing, and will showcase a keen interest in excelling the marketing practises within the brands.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of previous marketing experience
  • Passionate about the guitar industry
  • Proficient with social media platforms and latest market trends
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment
  • Able to commute to our studio in Brierly Hill, West Midlands for a miminum of 2 days per week (flexible working is considered for the right candidate)
  • Able to work independently
  • Literate and competent speller
  • Able to communicate and feedback to senior management
  • Competent with operating audio and visual equipment if required (cameras, microphones, mobile phones, and similar)

Responsibilities
  • Distribute content across all social media platforms
  • Edit and repurpose long-form content into short-form videos for social media
  • Assist in creating and producing marketing content
  • Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns
  • Design engaging graphics for marketing materials and social media
  • Plan and coordinate content shoots for Presenters in line with marketing objectives
  • Monitor and engage with comments across social media channels
  • Manage and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Create marketing materials for the website and handle basic website updates
