ABOUT VIOMERSE:

Viomerse, Inc. is a small company based out of Rochester, NY that creates surgical education products. Viomerse’s lifelike, synthetic anatomical models (“Phantoms”) enable surgeons to acquire necessary skills before they work in the operating room. These Phantoms are used by physicians to learn routine or new procedures. Additionally, our VioVision™ Extended Reality System (XR-S) enables quality education by connecting student and proctor remotely, and also enables data access in the operating room.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various marketing initiatives and campaigns, contributing to the overall success of our marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, as you will be involved in both content creation and performance analysis. You’ll collaborate closely with our team to design and develop the company website, enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support sales efforts across multiple channels.

SKILLS

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, or a related field
• Familiarity with web design in Squarespace
• Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• A keen eye for detail and strong sense of aesthetics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and manage time effectively
• Desire to work in a startup company setting and take on a variety of projects
• Proficiency in SEO techniques and best practices.
• Experience with social media marketing across various platforms.
• Knowledge of multichannel marketing strategies and execution.
• Familiarity with advertising sales processes.
• Experience with B2B marketing strategies is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools to streamline processes.
• Ability to manage email marketing campaigns effectively.

• Assist with the design and development of the Viomerse company website
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and feedback
• Implement design mockups and update website content as needed
• Ensure site functionality, responsiveness, and a positive user experience
• Create engaging digital and print marketing materials
• Design graphics, presentations, brochures, and social media posts
• Assist with designing tradeshow booth displays, materials, etc., consistent with Viomerse branding.
• Cultivate leads for, design, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns.
• Help conceptualize campaigns and convey the Viomerse brand voice
• Contribute to website SEO and content updates
• Assist with other design and marketing projects as needed
