Job Title: Marketing Associate and Social Media Marketer
Tersano Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to join our marketing team in Oldcastle, Ontario, as Marketing Associate with a focus on social media marketing strategy and content creation.
As a Marketing Associate, you will assist in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, developing data-driven cross-channel marketing strategies, campaigns, and content that cater to tersano’s unique B2B and B2C audiences and channels. Additionally, you will create route-to-market strategies for both new and existing products.
As Social Media Marketer, you will lead tersano’s social media marketing strategy, developing relevant, engaging, and persuasive content geared toward brand awareness, lead nurturing, and product education, adopting tersano’s unique brand voice and personality across multiple B2B and B2C social media channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a marketing role with a strong emphasis on graphic design, content creation, and campaign execution across digital platforms.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field, with a strong foundation in strategy, communication, and market analysis, is strongly preferred.
  • Design knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in e-commerce, digital marketing, and both B2C and B2B marketing, sales, and business activities.
  • Proficient social media marketing knowledge with key channel focus on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and others.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Google Workspace, including Analytics, Ads, Search Console, Sheets, and others.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn tersano’s marketing technology stack including Shopify, Klaviyo, Hootsuite, Jira, and others.

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy and Content Creation

  • Develop, execute, and maintain a robust, cross-channel content calendar and posting schedule.
  • Create multiformat content (video, audio, static, infographic, etc.) designed to capture interest, engage audiences, and compel them to take the desired action.
  • Monitor social media trends and owned data to deepen understanding of audiences, key messages, and winning content.
  • Create and post content that not only enhances tersano’s social media presence but also supports broader business performance goals such as retention and growth.
  • Expand tersano’s social media presence to new social media channels as seen fit.

Market Research and Insights

  • Undertake qualitative and quantitative research assignments aimed at strengthening understanding of target markets, audiences, new applications, competitor positioning, and more.
  • Translate research findings into visual formats and contextualize them with the company’s current opportunities, objectives, challenges, and constraints.
  • Analyze owned data to identify trends and opportunities for improving the effectiveness of tersano’s marketing, sales, and business strategies and communications.
  • Use research revelations to inform marketing decisions, solve problems, and forecast future opportunities and challenges.

Partner Support and Event Coordination

  • Support the marketing efforts of a global network of distribution partners and business representatives by providing custom marketing collateral and campaign feedback.
  • Assist in the conceptual and logistical preparations for events involving tersano’s participation, such as trade shows, pop-up expos, and conferences.
  • Assist in preparing partnership training sessions, including webinars, Q&As, instructional videos, and more.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Support tersano’s various additional digital marketing activities as needed, such as: Website Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing, Digital Advertising, Community Management, Sponsorships and more.

Marketing Collateral Development Support

  • Support tersano’s various additional marketing collateral development as needed, such as: PowerPoint Presentations, Brochures, Catalogues, Sell Sheets, Case Studies, White Papers, User Guides, Data Sheets, and more.
