Job description: Marketing Associate

We are a fast-growing Information Technology Service Provider with a 30+ year history, serving as the outsourced IT Department for businesses of various sizes. In addition to tech support, we manage every aspect of technology used by our diverse range of clients and are responsible for their computing environments 24×7/365. We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Marketing Associate to help produce marketing content and develop sales leads. This position requires availability for a flexible 8-hour workday between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, including company newsletters, postcards, and email marketing.
Coordinate and manage the sending of direct mail campaigns and work with the Sales Development Representative to ensure outbound calls are made.
Coordinate and work with the Account Manager on various campaigns and promotions.
Analyze data, market conditions, and competitor information to inform marketing direction.
Coordinate or participate in promotional activities, marketing events, trade shows, client appreciation events, seminars, and webinars.
Work with developers/consultants, print shops, advertisers, or production managers to market products or services.
Design, create and edit marketing documents, remarketing ads, postcards, etc.
Develop annual marketing strategies, plans, and budgets.
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results, meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly metrics.
Deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget and timeline.
Liaise with media and advertising partners.
Send out marketing offers and follow up to set appointments.
Build and clean the company’s database of clients and prospects.
Determine client gifts, order, and ensure delivery (3 times per year).
Monitor industry best practices and external events affecting business operations.
Track all leads and appointments using CRM.
Develop and manage campaigns in CRM.
Update all activities, expense reports, and sales processes within SharePoint.
Manage website updates (landing pages, blog posts, videos, homepage, Google listing, etc.).
Prepare and publish blogs.
Sending email campaigns and informational content.
Record and edit marketing videos.
Develop Connectability’s online presence.
Manage social media presence and post regularly (minimum 3 times/week).
Communicate the “Connectability brand” through marketing activities.
Prepare Connectability clothing and materials for new employees.
Conduct opinion surveys and/or needs assessments with current clients and prospects.
Provide occasional relief reception duties.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience.
Proven experience in customer and market research.
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and administrative skills.
Ability to plan and prioritize to achieve defined objectives.
Creative and out-of-the-box thinking.
Confident and goal oriented.
Strong customer service skills.
Comfortable calling on all levels of an organization (VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders).
A basic understanding of technology tools and their uses.
Experience with relevant software applications such as PowerPoint, video, and photo editing (e.g., InDesign, Canva).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with CRM systems (ActiveCampaign )experience preferred but not required).
