We are looking for a talented Marketing Associate/Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to develop marketing campaigns and produce copy and written content for Cata Coffee across all platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You have a strong portfolio of storytelling and producing brand-aligned copy.
• Besides English, you are also fluent in written and spoken Spanish in order to communicate with coffee producers and professionals in Latin America.
• You have excellent editing and proofreading skills, with great attention to detail.
• You’re curious and thoughtful, with a love for learning and sharing stories.
• You have a genuine interest in specialty coffee, sustainability, and sourcing specialty coffee.
• Experience writing for hospitality, food, or values-led brands is a plus.

This role involves working closely with our Director of Coffee to:

• develop and implement marketing campaigns to reach and connect with our target audience, featuring our coffees, products and services.
• write and edit clear, consistent and compelling copy for our product pages, social media, journal posts and printed assets.
• communicate with coffee producers, exporters and traders in Latin America from whom we source our coffee, to generate original content and primary source interviews for marketing campaigns.
• translate from Spanish to English, source materials from coffee origins in Latin America.
