GSK is looking to hire a Marketing Automation Manager to join our Marketing Capabilities team. This role is remote in Canada with occasional hybrid work from our Mississauga, Ontario, or Montréal, Québec locations. This is a critical digital marketing role responsible for leading marketing automation strategies and campaign execution across Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation initiatives that drive customer engagement and business results. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, IT, analytics, and compliance to deliver seamless, data-driven campaigns that align with GSK’s patient-centric and innovative approach. Your expertise will enable enhanced customer journeys, personalized communications, and measurable impact across multiple channels.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, or related roles
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics)
  • Solid understanding of data privacy regulations and their impact on marketing automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an asset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist, MS Azure)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development for email and landing page customization
  • Experience working cross-functionally with compliance, sales, and IT teams
  • Proactive and independent problem-solving mindset within a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading the management, configuration, and optimization of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva) to support business goals
  • Designing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver personalized and engaging customer experiences
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, IT, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of automation strategies with brand and regulatory requirements
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for marketing automation tools and providing guidance to internal teams on best practices
