Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist for a hybrid position in Mettawa, Illinois. This is a one-year contract role with potential for extension.
In this role, you will build and optimize one-to-one consumer marketing programs across email, direct mail, and media campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key part in campaign execution, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Marketing Automation Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and launch omnichannel campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ensure quality control, deliverability, and optimization of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Analytics, Creative, Agencies) to deliver impactful programs.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and apply innovative solutions.

Marketing Automation Specialist Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification (Email Specialist or Developer).
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in database/CRM/email marketing.
  • Strong project management, client service, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and marketing best practices.
