About the role As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be our lead Braze user advising, designing and implementing relevant, measurable, personalised engagement communications across channels to members. Your experience in marketing automation will be demonstrated by success in implementing multichannel digital communications that delivered measurable customer and business outcomes. We’re looking for someone with a data-driven mindset who can translate insights into innovative, customer-centric marketing initiatives. You’ll bring a strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and be comfortable operating in an omni-channel environment. The ideal person will be able to hit the ground running and adapts quickly as priorities evolve. Collaboration is key in this role, so the ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and work closely with cross-functional teams is essential to delivering impactful outcomes Key Responsibilities of this role: Be the lead user of our Braze marketing automation platform, creating campaigns that are personalised, relevant, and measurable. End to end delivery of omni-channel direct marketing campaigns via email, in-app message, push notifications, social, outbound calling All tasks associated with campaign development and build, rules-based orchestration, segmentation, targeting, analysis, suppression and optimisation in Braze Ensure data integrity, compliance, best practice and governance are adhered to. Support Marketing with streamlined engagement processes, clear customer journey mapping and effective campaign enablement Supporting quarterly marketing planning, working with Marketing team to operationalise quarterly strategy into lifecycle marketing and campaigns Collaborate across Marketing and IT to implement best-practice processes and contribute to prioritisation of work that delivers business outcomes. Champion continuous improvement - regularly review campaign and platform performance About you: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Braze, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Advanced Braze segment, communication, journey build capability and administration of users and workspaces Exceptional planning, organisation and attention to detail with multiple projects at once Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and attribution modelling Working knowledge of electronic marketing, data privacy and governance principles and legislation Business-related qualifications or ongoing learning that demonstrates expertise, curiosity, and a passion for growth A collaborative, energetic and proactive approach aligned with a values-driven culture Ngākau nui.
