About the role We’re seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to support the delivery of Transurban’s outbound customer communications across eDM, SMS, push notifications and other digital channels. You’ll join a collaborative and innovative marketing team that values quality delivery, continuous improvement and strong stakeholder partnerships. As our Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. Day-to-day, you will: Design, build, test and deploy campaigns, automations and customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Monitor and manage daily data files to ensure automations and ad hoc communications are delivered accurately and on time Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, approved content and data inputs Design and document proposed journeys and campaign solutions, gaining approval prior to build and deployment Conduct pre-deployment checks and testing to ensure campaign quality and compliance Participate in cross-functional project squads, acting as a subject matter expert for SFMC Maintain SFMC platforms, folders and assets in line with governance standards Deliver campaign reporting, including engagement and conversion metrics, within agreed timeframes Develop A/B testing strategies and provide optimisation recommendations based on performance insights Prepare and present campaign packs outlining strategy, audience, results and improvement opportunities This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including: 1 – 3 years of business experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platform) Salesforce Certification - Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Robust analytical and problem-solving skills High level experience in Management Report Writing & Preparation Excellent organisational skills and project delivery experience Stakeholder management experience and influencing skills If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
