Description POSITION: MARKETING & BRAND SPECIALIST CLASSIFICATION: REGULAR, FULLTIME - SALARY -EXEMPT REPORT TO: VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING DIRECT REPORTS: INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR - NO DIRECT REPORTS SALARY RANGE: $72,000 - $78,000 ANNUAL BASE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The Marketing & Brand Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining Cabrillo Credit Union’s public-facing brand presence. This role develops visual content, manages social media, supports brand storytelling, coordinates community events, and oversees branded assets and gifting inventory. The position ensures consistent brand application across all channels and supports community engagement through strategic marketing content and visual representation. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES, INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Marketing & Content Creative Design & Brand Assets Social Media & Digital Engagement Community & Marketing Representation Gifting & Branded Inventory Management Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management Digital & Member Experience Support Product & Program Marketing Administrative & Strategic Support Other duties and responsibilities to support departmental or organizational needs, as assigned by the Credit Union. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred. Minimum of three to five years’ experience in Marketing or Business Development. Credit Union experience preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Social media management experience (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Basic photography/videography skills for marketing use, strong writing and editing abilities for marketing content, SharePoint or digital asset-management experience preferred. Core Competencies: Creativity and visual marketing communication, strong interpersonal and public-facing professionalism, ability to manage deadlines and balance competing priorities, attention to detail and brand consistency, initiative, organization, and proactive planning, excellent representation in community and partner-facing functions Knowledge of service delivery, following policies and government regulations related to financial institutions. Effective people skills, including excellent communication skills, including active listening and providing clear direction Requires the ability to communicate courteously and professionally, both in writing and verbally. Detail oriented, well organized and ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong interpersonal skills - ability to motivate and positively influence others for maximum cooperation Must have a high level of flexibility and adaptability to support changing demands Computer proficiency required Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Various Credit Union systems experience preferred.
