Description

National Timber Group are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to act as the Marketing Business Partner for our merchant business in Scotland. This is a great opportunity for a marketing professional to play a key role in the success and development of a well-respected group of brands.
As the Marketing Business Partner, you will oversee our brand propositions, customer communications and marketing services across the Company.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A strong background in B2B marketing.
  • Experience with branding and building brand identities.
  • Strong copywriting skills and creativity in campaign development.
  • Proficiency in the marketing mix and analytical skills to evaluate performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Commercial awareness for managing budgets and data analysis.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to handle a range of tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing across email, online, and social channels.
  • Experience of creative software – such as Adobe Creative - would be beneficial
  • A valid driving license is required for occasional travel between locations.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to support the business area strategic goals for National Timber Group Scotland.
  • Work with the senior management team to create and manage marketing campaigns, brand, product development, events, and communication both internally and externally.
  • Create and manage appropriate marketing campaigns across all sales channels.
  • Plan and activate promotional campaigns, analyse their impact, and implement learnings.
  • Develop presentations and collateral to support Sales in business development.
  • Develop PR opportunities to promote our offer to relevant audiences.
  • Research the competitive marketplace to refine brand positioning and strategies.
  • Continuously explore new opportunities to promote products across various channels.
