Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Marketing & Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) to join Trackunit’s Brand & Communications team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for elevating Trackunit’s brand and message across channels and audiences — ensuring we continue to be recognized as a thought leader in the construction tech space.
You’ll manage and execute cross-functional communication initiatives, from content development and messaging to branding, PR, and employer branding. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling storytelling aligned with our brand purpose: Eliminating Downtime.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who can work independently and cross-functionally—translating complex stories into engaging narratives and visuals that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
This is also a maternity cover position, expected to run for 18 months, with the potential opportunity for a permanent position afterwards. You’ll be stepping into a well-defined role with clear priorities and ongoing projects, ensuring continuity and impact during the leave period.

WHO ARE YOU IDEALLY?

  • A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing and communications—ideally in a B2B or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills, with a proven ability to create engaging content across formats—from press releases and blogs to newsletters and executive comms.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice across teams and channels.
  • Familiar with tools like CMS platforms, email marketing systems, and project management tools (e.g. HubSpot, WordPress, Asana).
  • You’re a natural collaborator with a “get it done” mindset—ready to navigate a global, fast-paced organization and connect with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You thrive on enabling others through strong messaging, clear communication, and powerful storytelling.
  • Business-level English fluency is a must—our team is international, and our communication is global.
Don’t meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we’re looking for ideally, but if you’re particularly drawn to this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

Don’t waste your time on writing the best possible cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters, and that’s not in the cover letter.

  • Virtual meet and greet with Christoffer Larsen, VP of Marketing and your leader.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking ‘appropriate’ responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or projects related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
  • Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you!
Responsibilities
  • Messaging: Ensure messaging is effective and consistent while simultaneously appealing to a broad audience and is in line with our overall comms strategy and reflects our tone of voice and brand.
  • Social Media: Oversee and execute content planning and publishing across Trackunit’s social channels in collaboration with the wider team, ensuring all content is on-brand, engaging, and aligned with overall messaging and communication objectives.
  • Public Relations: Support and development and execution of PR plans including management of PR agencies internationally.
  • Content: Production of content for various channels incl. websites, social media, newsletters, company presentations, catalogs and white papers.
  • Coordinate: Work with relevant external commercial / outsourced partners on copywriting, photographers and creatives.
  • Editorial: You will write and edit high quality editorial content for different audiences and platforms – from press releases and features to blogs and video content.
  • Localisation: Assist in the localisation process ensuring key assets are translated and global messaging and communications materials are regionalized for main markets incl. German and French.
  • Assets: Coordination and management of print and marketing assets for sales, CSM and management team.
  • Internal: Help drive the Trackunit’s internal communication and sense of unity through a variety of mediums (e.g. confluence).
  • Thought leadership: Support and drive thought leadership activities, co-creating and publishing strategic communication for leadership forums, top management meetings etc.
As the Marketing & Communications Manager you are the voice behind the voice. You’ll be responsible for elevating Trackunit’s profile globally, and will have a direct impact on the success of the company.
In this hands-on role you’ll be developing and executing strategic, global internal and external communications plans and activities to drive engagement and alignment to our brand principals, values and position and purpose to excite our audience and inspire customer confidence.
