ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external contacts, always exhibiting excellent customer service. * Provides administrative support to the Marketing Department and works closely with the regional Finance department. * Coordinates collation of data from Marketing activities, creation, and maintenance of departments’ spreadsheet & PowerPoint Presentations. * Coordinates and supports media PO creation or updates. * Analysis of spreadsheets and other forms of data. Reporting analyzed data to department management daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually. * Process purchase orders for departments and ensure that bills are coded accurately and delivered to the Finance department in a timely and prompt manner. Monthly bill reconciliation is also completed accurately and within the deadline. * Collate and send the supplier banners for supplier approvals on time. * Completes special projects and other duties as assigned, with quality results, while adhering to the timeline given by management. * Answer calls and routes where required accordingly, always representing the company in a professional manner. * Trustworthy with information and always maintains the utmost confidentiality. * Always available to attend job-related training and willing to learn and develop new skills. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS * Experience in handling expenses and an affinity with financial concepts would be a plus. * Experience in implementing and processing high volumes of deadline-sensitive activities. * Multi-tasking ability with detailed and thorough work. * Excellent verbal and written language skills in English. * Exhibits strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. * Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others. * Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette. * Able to communicate with people at all levels, both inside and outside the organization. * PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software. Marketing Communications Specialist I * Works with Marketing Directors, Managers, and Creative team to launch marketing campaigns on schedule coordinating the creation of advertising and communication material, in particular online displays, print advertisements, advertorials, articles, directories, company profiles and PRs as needed. * Ensures all media has proper purchasing approvals prior to confirming with the magazine reps or media agency on purchases. * Maintains accurate spending forecasts and updates as needed; manages all activity for media budget tracking. * Prepares monthly advertising performance and media mix reports. * Plan and participate in Mouser events and joint events with suppliers. Cooperate in the organization of events and exhibitions in assigned regions. Requirements * Preferred Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience. * Preferred 1+ years in related Marketing position or agency experience. Marketing Communications Specialist II * Analyzes results of media efforts and develops measures of success. Ensures programs result in highest possible levels of business benefit. * Fosters productive relationships with media buying firms, agency creative/account/traffic groups, internal brand teams and cross-functional partners, as well as sales representatives from international key media outlets. * Optimize campaigns in programmatic advertising and handle the placements in the platform. Requirements * Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience. * 2+ years in related Marketing position or agency experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. * At least two years’ experience in negotiating as well as buying print and digital. Marketing Communications Specialist III * Identifies unique media buying opportunities. Makes decisions regarding spending levels and placement tactics with the supervision of the Marketing Manager. * Monitors the media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identifies opportunities and emerging issues and understands new technologies and consumer reaction. * Develops best practices for media planning and buying process, competitive media analysis, medica cost and performance benchmarks, and media effectiveness. Sets and monitors media cost and performance benchmarks. * Ensures strong negotiations resulting in breakthrough, efficient and effective media deals. Requirements * Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience. * 4+ years in related Marketing position or agency experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. * At least three years experience in negotiating as well as buying print and digital, media database and advertising serving platforms. Senior Marketing Communications Specialist * Team subject matter expert. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing or equivalent discipline. * 6+ years related Marketing position, Agency, or Admin role experience required. * Internal candidates: * Experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. * Minimum Highly Effective performance in current role.
