THE JOB:

HOYTS are looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our Social Media team! Based in the Sydney’s CBD, this role will help to manage and execute HOYTS social media strategy across all current and emerging social channels.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms, both paid and organic
  • Achieving engagement on social media posts through creative and engaging copywriting Assist in the planning and creation of TikTok content
  • Report on social media trends and monitor competitor activity with the goal of maximising HOYTS social media presence and campaign effectiveness
  • Work with distributors to develop content that promotes upcoming and now showing movies with the goal of converting engagements into ticket sales
  • Collaborate with Promotion and Communications team to create and manage a social media calendar
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics and campaign success

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Degree in marketing or experience with social media, or similar (desirable)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies (desirable)
  • Experience in analysing campaign data and developing reports to communicate key success metrics (desirable)
