Description

If you've got a couple of years in marketing and you're starting to think, what's next?... this is a great role to broaden your experience.

We're partnering with an established national business looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join a small, hands-on team at an exciting time for the brand.

You'll get exposure to far more than one channel. Think content, campaigns, website, internal communications, photography, collateral, events and project launches - with some bigger brand projects on the horizon too!

The opportunity here is to learn quickly, work directly alongside an experienced marketing leader and gradually take ownership of more as your confidence grows.

The opportunity

This is a role for someone who likes variety and wants to actually get involved.

You could be organising a photoshoot, briefing a creative agency, building out the internal newsletter, updating the website or pulling together collateral for a major project launch.

There are established pieces to work with, but also plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas. The team is improving its marketing foundations and processes, so you'll have a hand in shaping how things are done rather than simply following a playbook.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating marketing campaigns and project launches;
  • Creating content and collateral across digital and offline channels;
  • Briefing designers, photographers, agencies and other creative suppliers;
  • Planning and coordinating photoshoots from brief through to delivery;
  • Supporting website, social media and email marketing activity;
  • Creating internal communications, newsletters and intranet content;
  • Developing case studies, presentations and branded materials;
  • Managing and improving the brand asset library; and
  • Supporting budgets, purchase orders and marketing administration.

About you

You'll have around 2+ years' experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Assistant or agency environment and be ready for a role that gives you more exposure.

Strong writing skills are important. You'll also need a good eye for content and presentation, be organised enough to keep multiple projects moving and comfortable following up with stakeholders to get what you need.

Experience briefing agencies or suppliers will be valuable, while exposure to Canva, Illustrator, websites or campaign reporting would be a bonus.

  • More than anything, we're looking for someone curious, adaptable and willing to have a go. You don't need to arrive knowing everything - but you do need to want to learn.
