About the role

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Manage Commercial Marketing, including ‘Right To Win’/Why AIG Value Proposition & Industry Positioning.
Manage AIG exposure through Broker Magazine, Broker Ireland partnership, Press and Other Media Outlets
Manage AIG events (Dublin GAA Sponsorship etc.), product launches (all Products), and Innovation AIG/Broker Events ((Broker/Client Days)
Manage Training & Development, including training through III, Broker Training, internal training, on-line training, lunch & learn, etc.
Leverage the knowledge of the EMEA Marketing department to optimize the Commercial Marketing function in Ireland
To strategically plan, develop and implement various initiatives including Sales Plans and Global Broker development/service plans and support Distribution in creating adequate pipeline for branch and input into Salesforce in good time.
Internal Communication- Communication of marketing and commercial strategies across the branch and also arrange and MC town halls working with GM and Head Of Distribution.
External Communication – Any changing Underwriting or strategic actions by product should be communicated and articulated to our brokers in good time with Head of Commercial Marketing working with product and distribution on key messaging and selected audience.
Responsible for developing long-term and strategic marketing plans - This should be done in tandem with Head of Distribution, GM and the Product Lines Heads. Ensure these strategic plans are rolled out and tracked. Commercial Strategy - Develop and implement marketing plans that align with product and organizational strategic business goals
Manage campaign execution and roll-out including overseeing collateral design, digital and events strategies
Ability to pull together presentations whether they be internal or external focused.
Manage marketing budgets, measure and report on effectiveness via ROI KPIs
Use of R&D, Sales Force and Analytics resources
Manage relationship and budgets with external providers (Teneo, Legacy).
Website content and redesign for commercial/distribution
Collaborate and support with the Consumer Marketing colleagues.
Ad hoc projects for GM including supporting any government affairs.

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years’ experience in a Marketing/Communications Experience preferably in financial services
Works well within their own team but is a proven collaborator with colleagues outside of their function
Self-driven, organized and ambitious
Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strategic thinking that can take broad concepts and vision to develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics and then effectively execute those plans.
