COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION OF FLORIDA Marketing Communications Manager The primary purpose of this position is to assist Community Credit Union of Florida (“CCU”) in living out our Mission, “Always improve the financial well-being of our members and make a positive difference in the communities we serve,” by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members.  The Marketing Communications Manager supports the growth of the Credit Union by managing a team of marketing professionals to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and content initiatives. This position is accountable for the quality of internal and external marketing communications, ensuring alignment with brand standards and organizational objectives. This role will oversee content marketing and public relations strategies, guiding the team in translating complex product information into clear, audience-focused messaging across multiple channels. Assists in attaining established departmental goals and adheres to all credit union standard operating policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations and guidelines.  Manages public relations and content marketing strategies to drive awareness, build credibility, and support business goals within a highly regulated environment. Coordinates media opportunities, speaking engagements, and credit union leadership visibility efforts. Translates complex product and organizational knowledge into clear, engaging narratives for media and external audiences. Directs product positioning to drive marketing campaigns that align with target audiences and help to differentiate credit union products. Responsible for upholding brand standards, consistency, quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of all internal and external communications. Monitors media coverage and public relations performance, reports on key metrics, and recommends optimizations. Assists with the development, implementation, management, and tracking of the annual marketing plan and budget. Leads, mentors, and develops the Marketing Campaign Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Content Specialist, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional growth in accordance with the credit union's performance management philosophy. Sets clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations. Responsible for the day-to-day assignment and oversight of marketing campaigns, including but not limited to direct mail, advertising, social media, and content creation. Works with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure campaign alignment across digital platforms. Tracks, measures, and analyzes marketing and advertising campaigns and makes data-driven decisions to improve results. Collaborates with the Business Intelligence department and third-party vendors to gather data to measure campaign performance. Assists in the creation and maintenance of marketing policies and procedures. Assists with the maintenance of vendor contracts and due diligence. Supervises the day-to-day administration of Events and Sponsorships using the project management software to ensure that events are executed successfully.  Participates in cross-department project teams in support of strategic initiatives. Fosters a collaborative and positive relationship with all marketing team members and internal stakeholders. Provides back-up and support to the VP, Marketing, as directed. Follows policy and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations. Performs other related duties and works on special projects as assigned. ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY The environment for this position is an open, non-confined office-type setting that is clean and comfortable, where the incumbent is free to move about at will.  Approximately 10% local travel required. Limited travel during the work schedule, primarily for training, meetings, or special projects. POSITION REQUIREMENTS These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.  Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines. •    Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Journalism/Media, Communications, Business, or any other related field, and/or five (5) to eight (8) years of progressively responsible positions within marketing or a related field required.  Work-related experience should consist of exceptional brand marketing, public relations/marketing communications, and marketing project management experience.   •    Knowledge of credit unions or financial services, financial marketing, budgeting, and marketing regulations and compliance is highly desired. •    Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a broad range of people and positions, with an ability to forge relationships.  •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must possess strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills. •    Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns, and experience analyzing marketing campaign data to determine if campaigns are meeting business objectives.  •    Excellent project management skills. Must be able to manage projects from initiation to completion, meeting both deadlines and budget requirements. Must possess the ability to multitask and the ability to provide leadership, supervision, and training using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; demonstrated ability in organization and delegation skills.  Ability to work with limited supervision and inspection of work while performing duties, and being a strong team player. •    Proficient with PC programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. •    Intermediate math skills; calculating percentages, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locating routine mathematical errors. •    Current Florida driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage as required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
