QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, or business, and four years related experience; or six years progressively responsible marketing experience or equivalent combination of training/education and experience. Two years marketing-related management experience.
Preferred: Marketing experience in the financial industry. Publication production and copywriting experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Desktop publishing, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software experience required; understanding of printing, graphic design, desktop publishing, web development and broadcast production methods required; Ability to handle frequent deadlines and time constraints required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to the prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, Board, the public and the media.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
