Working closely with teams across the firm, you’ll establish structure and standards that support efficient delivery, strong storytelling, and consistent quality. Job Responsibilities: Brand, Messaging & Content Leadership Own and elevate JT’s brand voice, messaging standards, and content quality Set the bar for strong writing and storytelling, ensuring clarity and consistency Create, guide, and refine content for web, social, and internal communications Provide coaching and direction that strengthens writing and communication effectiveness across teams Marketing Communications & Public Involvement Lead marketing communications efforts that strengthen JT’s visibility and effectively share our work and impact Oversee JT’s digital presence, including website updates, content refreshes, and brand-driven storytelling Lead the development of public involvement materials that are accessible, accurate, and aligned with JT’s communication standards Coordinate with Project Managers on public involvement activities, including public meeting materials, outreach content, and community-facing updates Translate technical project information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging for clients, stakeholders, and the public Pursuits, Proposals & Interview Excellence Strengthen the clarity, tone, and impact of pursuit materials, including proposals, SOQs, and interviews Ensure pursuit content clearly communicates JT’s value, differentiation, and strengths to clients Guide pursuit teams in developing compelling narratives, polished presentations, and high-quality deliverables Develop pursuit-focused templates, content libraries, and repeatable processes that support both quality and efficiency Serve as the final quality and brand checkpoint for all external marketing communications Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field 8+ years of progressive experience in communications, marketing, proposal development, or related roles Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong eye for detail Ability to help teams strengthen messaging and elevate the quality of deliverables Comfort balancing strategy with hands-on content development and refinement Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging A collaborative approach with the ability to set expectations and support high standards Life at JT: The Benefits and Perks At JT, we offer more than just a job - we provide a thriving workplace culture and exceptional benefits.
