SUMMARY
Coordinates tactical product marketing and administrative marketing communications functions; works with the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations to facilitate various projects and assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Has a solid understanding of the discrete semiconductor industry, including leading competitor products, websites, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, etc.
Monitors advertising of competitors’ products and researches new advertising opportunities.
Performs competitive marketing analysis, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations.
Analyzes market trends and competitor activity; performs frequent reviews of competitors’ websites and press announcements.
Develops new marketing literature for use by the sales team during customer visits and trade shows.
Develops new advertising ideas for ads and other creative promotional concepts.
Maintains and enhances Central’s social media presence for online marketing campaigns.
Develops and performs layout and graphic designs for promotional literature using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Reviews and edits literature and related marketing documentation prior to submission to the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations.
Prepares press releases for approval by the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations.
Coordinates Central’s annual advertising schedule.
Develops and implements marcom plans, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations, in support of corporate objectives.
Develops and executes marketing campaigns for select feature products.
Prepares Go-To Market (GTM) literature for use by Central’s sales team.
Assists with the preparation of product training presentations for use by Central’s sales network.
Interfaces with the VP of Engineering in the preparation of Central’s Technology Road Map.
Screens sales leads generated by publications/advertising for use by sales team members.
Develops and analyzes lead generation statistics for management review.
Performs updates to Central’s website for standard processes.
Develops the graphical appearance and functional work flow of Central’s website.
Prepares PowerPoint presentations and other projects in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations.
Coordinates training modules required for the Central University training portal with the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations.
Supports field sales efforts by providing assistance to Central’s Area Sales Directors (ASDs), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Country Managers, Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs), manufacturer’s representatives, and franchised distributors.
Maintains sufficient literature inventory and fulfills on demand requests for literature from Central’s worldwide sales team and extended sales channel.
Coordinates the transportation arrangements of marketing materials for trade shows and other external events.
Attends key trade shows to support Marketing team efforts.
Maintains Marketing materials supplies and storage room(s).
Performs administrative tasks, including move ticket processing, preparing documents for shipping, and delivering marketing items to Central’s shipping department.
Provides monthly reports to the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations and VP of Worldwide Sales & Marketing to summarize key accomplishments, new ideas, and future goals related to responsibilities.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of the latest PC Windows operating system, and the following applications: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Preferred knowledge of or experience with IBM AS/400 and Apple Macintosh computer system, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat or full Creative Suite package.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, work instructions and procedures, and industry publications. Ability to write routine reports, memos, faxes, e-mail, and other correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities; however, in order to assist the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations, the individual may lead cross-functional teams to support specific Marketing/Sales projects and initiatives.
