Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are expanding our Marketing & Communications team and seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Communications Specialist/Manager to join us in a new role, supporting the UK & Ireland markets, and occasionally, the bigger North Europe region, including the Nordics and Baltics. We’re open to hiring either a Marketing Specialist or a Marketing Manager – the exact role and responsibilities will be shaped based on your experience and expertise.
In this role, you will have a chance to work with a rapidly growing EV charging brand on the UK & Ireland market, and a market leader on its home turf, the Nordics. Your responsibility is to plan and implement marketing communications in close cooperation with the whole Marketing & Communications team and the Regional Sales Team, based in the UK & Ireland.
You will be part of the Regional Marketing Communications team, spread around Europe and Australia, which is part of the Marketing & Communications function, with the majority based in Finland. The role is an individual performer and does not include people manager responsibilities. The role reports to the Head of Marketing Communications, Europe and APAC.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, create, and develop Kempower’s marketing communications based on the company’s commercial strategy in the UK & Ireland, and supporting the wider North Europe region according to need
  • Collaborate on marketing projects with Kempower’s direct customers and sales and service partners, and other EV and industry influencers in the UK & Ireland
  • Offer marketing & PR support for Kempower’s partner network in the UK & Ireland
  • Plan and coordinate targeted digital campaigns, PR and social media activities, and marketing automation campaigns
  • Plan and prepare local customer and partner events, and support our participation in exhibitions and conferences in the UK & Ireland
  • Prepare content assets, e.g. news, customer success stories, social media posts, and blogs
  • Produce video and photography content in the UK & Ireland and the North Europe region

In this role, occasional traveling in the UK & Ireland, and the Nordics is required.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • 3+ years of working in marketing communications or PR, and experience in working across different marketing channels
  • Experience of working in a hybrid model– you will work remotely and meet occasionally at our UK office with the UK & Ireland sales team and travel in the UK & Ireland and the North Europe region to support customer events, charging station openings, customer reference recordings, and exhibitions.
  • We appreciate candidates with an independent, yet collaborative working style and an interest in developing new skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing situations
  • Experience in EVs or the electric vehicle industry, and exposure to Nordics companies, are considered as advantages.
As our official company language is English, native-level proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of Nordic languages is considered a plus.
