WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who has a sharp eye for design and a great ability to turn technical information into easy to understand content. You love to experiment with content formats, and drive creative projects forward. You are proactive, hands on, and not afraid to try new things. You bring visual ideas to the table and enjoy shaping abstract ideas into tangible creative output.
You are familiar with digital platforms and understand how to tailor visuals and written content for different audiences and channels. As part of a small, dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of B2B marketing in the cloud-native consultancy industry. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential, as they’ll be instrumental in moving initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • A degree in communication, design, multimedia, marketing, or a related creative field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma or similar.
  • Basic understanding of content strategy and social media marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced team.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Affinity with tech, cloud or IT, and any experience in the IT industry is definitely a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS THAT SERVE AS AN ADVANTAGE

  • Knowledge of SEO, GEO or UX.
  • Animation or motion design (for example with After Effects, Premiere Pro or similar tools).
  • Photography or videography skills.
  • Experience with branding or brand identity development.
Responsibilities

As a Marketing and Communications Content Specialist, your main mission is to craft compelling written content that brings our brand to life and connects with our audience. You will play a key role in shaping how SUE communicates: from thought leadership and customer stories to social media posts and campaign messaging.
You will write clear, engaging content for various channels, including blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and internal communications. You enjoy diving into complex topics, interviewing subject matter experts, and turning insights into stories that resonate in the B2B landscape. Whether it is a customer success story, a product update, a blog post, or a content series for social media, you know how to strike the right tone.
In addition to writing, you will also create strong visuals to enhance and reinforce your content, ensuring everything aligns with our campaign goals. The role offers a balanced mix of writing and design, with each making up about fifty percent of your time. That means you should enjoy working on both and feel energized by combining words and visuals into one clear message.

Some things you might find yourself doing:

  • Interviewing subject matter experts and turning their input into strong narratives.
  • Writing blog posts, customer stories, landing pages, and email content.
  • Designing social media posts, carousels, and animations.
  • Creating marketing materials like one pagers, pitch decks, and event visuals.
  • Thinking along on campaign concepts, formats, and engagement strategies.
  • Supporting internal branding and employer branding initiatives.
