We are looking for a highly outgoing, people‑loving Marketing Manager & Community Engagement Manager who is passionate about helping a local business grow and is excited to be the face of our brand in the community. This is a hands-on, in-the-community role — not a desk job. If you enjoy meeting people, building relationships, creating buzz, and seeing your efforts turn into real bookings, this role is for you. About the Role This part-time position is ideal for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated, and deeply familiar with the Dunwoody / Sandy Springs / Perimeter / Brookhaven area. You will spend time inside the studio, out in the community, and online, creating buzz, driving awareness, and helping grow our client base. This is not a desk‑only or remote position. You must be comfortable: Walking into businesses Introducing yourself and the brand Building relationships Hosting and attending events Talking to people confidently and enthusiastically If you are naturally outgoing, energized by people, and motivated by business growth, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation Create and post engaging, on‑brand content for Waxing the City Dunwoody Capture real moments in the studio (team, guests, services, events) Write captions that reflect our brand voice—friendly, confident, and professional Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and reviews Promote services, team members, specials, and events Community Outreach & Local Marketing Visit local businesses in the Dunwoody/Perimeter area to build partnerships Drop off branded goodies and swag to introduce Waxing the City to employees Build relationships with gyms, offices, salons, boutiques, and nearby retailers Actively look for creative local marketing opportunities Confidently represent the brand in person Events & Brand Awareness Plan and host in‑studio events Identify and attend outside events, including: Chamber of Commerce events Community partner events Local pop‑ups and festivals Visit local high schools and universities to build awareness Assist with event promotion, setup, and follow‑up Business Growth Focus Think strategically about how marketing efforts drive studio growth Bring new ideas for increasing visibility and client engagement Collaborate with studio leadership on promotions and campaigns Track what’s working and adjust efforts as needed Schedule & Availability This role requires minimum flexibility. ✅ Availability required for: Weekdays (daytime and/or evenings) Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) Schedule will vary based on events, activations, and community opportunities Hours may vary week to week depending on marketing needs and events.
