ABOUT US

Blue Rock is a one-of-a-kind outdoor resort offering waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, SUP, canoeing, paintball, restaurant, ziplining, and a brand-new AquaPark — all just outside of Cape Town. We’re looking for a creative and proactive Marketing & Content Coordinator to help us grow our community, drive bookings, and showcase everything we offer!

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar marketing, social media, or content creation role (we will consider a strong creative portfolio over years of experience)
• Ideally live in the Helderberg area
• Driver’s license + own transport
• Available to work flexible hours (some weekends/peak days/holidays)

• Create and manage weekly content for Instagram, Facebook & TikTok (Reels, stories, posts)
• Build a monthly content calendar around activities, specials, and events
• Capture on-site content (photos & videos of watersports, restaurant dishes, paintball, AquaPark, etc.)
• Manage online community: respond to comments/messages, repost user content
• Support with email newsletters and basic graphic design (Canva or similar)
• Assist with seasonal marketing campaigns (e.g. end-of-year functions, summer packages)
• Coordinate with other departments (restaurant, paintball, watersports) to keep content fresh
• Keep our Google Business profile updated with events, menus & reviews
• Build and maintain relationships with new leads and existing partners (Schools, tourguides, tourist centres, guest houses, events, etc)
• Assist in setting up the proshop and branded apparel.
• Design and create billboard designs and signage on site
• Website design and keeping website up to date
