MARKETING CONTENT COPYWRITER

Thor Motor Coach, the leading motorhome manufacturer in North America, is seeking a qualified Marketing Content Copywriter. This role will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of marketing messaging, strategy, and content production.
Specific responsibilities include project management, content development, storytelling through the written word, brand protection, and adherence to overall corporate positioning. Understanding and proven judgment about marketing activities and their impact on customers are required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar digital content creation role
  • Proven writing ability and content production expertise are must-have qualifications
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Understanding recreational vehicles will be a bonus
    Pre-Employment drug screen required. EOE

Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and update written copy for company websites, blog articles, social media accounts, press releases, e-mail campaigns, and/or surveys
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns that may involve other types of digital interactions
  • Work with team members and outside agencies to achieve a cohesive company message
  • Work with marketing managers in evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data needed for marketing and overall customer experience
  • Assist with writing, posting, and distributing press releases
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining social media posts and audiences across social media platforms
  • Support management of trademarks with corporate lawyers
  • Help with other marketing functions as necessary, including a required two-week window in September for Dealer Open House
