ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent writing skills, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and accentuating key takeaways
  • Ability to adapt copywriting to different audiences
  • Skilled in generating ideas, identifying trends, and creating content that is engaging and relevant
  • Proficiency with content management systems and SEO
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or similar
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities
  • Composing descriptions of our ongoing and completed projects that highlight their engineering and sustainability achievements
  • Managing the firm’s social media accounts, including maintaining content calendars, copywriting posts, and remaining actively engaged with other accounts
  • Compiling award submissions
  • Assisting engineers and project managers with abstracts for conference presentations
  • Managing the firm’s Public Relations: Drafting press releases, pursuing opportunities for publication, etc.
  • Providing content for the firm’s website and employing SEO
  • Working with the Director of Marketing on e-mail marketing strategy and other projects
