JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for curating content across traditional and digital media in accordance of the Bank’s brand.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • Communications and Media – Possess a working knowledge of social media requirements, guidelines, and regulations to maintain compliance. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google/My Business, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Sales and Marketing – Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services. Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • English Language/Writing Skills – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.

  • Computers/Technical – Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly. Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress. Maintains or is willing to gather a working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research.
  • Economics and Accounting – Knowledge of the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data is a plus.
  • Bank Secrecy Act – In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Communications or similar field.
  • At least one-year work experience in Social Media or digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Design software preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Marketing Automation preferred.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports strategic goals and objectives to achieve the overall mission of NexTier Bank.
  • Supports expectations of Company Culture & Community in the best interest of Customers as a representative of the Bank.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials including advertisements, email campaigns, flyers, brochures, presentations, branch tv content, event collateral, etc.
  • Create engaging content for digital campaigns, and other owned media channels, using SEO, digital engagement strategies, and current digital trends.
  • Plan and schedule website updates and alerts, and distribute email campaigns.
  • Implement website content updates, layout enhancements and asset creation to keep the Bank’s website consistent, fresh, and informative.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to support brand storytelling, campaigns, and events.
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all design work.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content as needed for campaigns, events, and digital storytelling.
  • Manage and organize creative assets and digital libraries.
  • Maintains online review and testimonial strategy and monitors online ratings, and responds accordingly.
  • Works closely with the Compliance department to ensure work meets all regulatory guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
