REQUIREMENTS
1.A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field is required and a minimum of three years of experience writing for marketing campaigns and projects. Familiarity with the financial services industry is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
2.Proven ability to create content that can be customized to maximize the promotional value of each media outlet, such as writing short-form and long-form copy and ad-copy-style content (e.g., headlines, taglines, and promotional CTAs).
3.Strong storytelling ability, able to take insights and turn them into engaging content that brings the brand and member experience to life.
4.Demonstrate creativity in the production of marketing materials.
5.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and grammar. Responsible for reviewing, refining, and proofreading copy to meet quality standards and ensure error-free deliverables.
6.Competency using Microsoft Office software with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
7.Understanding of how to write for effective SEO to maximize reach. Experience writing social and blog copy.
8.Demonstrate the ability to independently organize work, handle multiple priorities, and coordinate multiple projects in a high-volume workload setting with keen attention to detail.
9.Must have a clear grasp of company processes and policies as they relate to this position. Should know and comply with all state and federal job-related laws and regulations.
1.Develops accurate, compliant copy for marketing materials and literature, including mass media and member communications.
2.Develops and produces content for various channels.
3.Works with internal experts in the process of researching, gathering information, copywriting, coordinating design, collecting feedback and making edits.
4.Creates compelling, branded, results-oriented messaging in a range of media channels.
5.Uses storytelling abilities to craft messaging that inspires members emotionally, communicates value, and builds on Landmark’s mission and values.
6.Provides strategic direction and recommendations for effective copy across audiences and channels. Checks layout with copy to create effective and visually stimulating marketing communications.
7.Develops copy from briefs that adheres to best practices and meets the goals of businesses and the Landmark organization.
8.Thinks through branding and content strategy as a comprehensive whole with voice, tone, style, and storytelling continuity.
9.Consistently evaluates and measures content performance and makes recommendations for improvement and optimizations.
10.Proof materials for accuracy and regulatory compliance requirements.
11.Perform other duties as assigned.
