Description

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • The right candidate will be an ambitious, agile and entrepreneurial leader, with a success track record in FMCG environments.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, navigating complexity to lead projects to successful in-market results.
  • Broad experience of brand management disciplines, including in-market delivery and pipeline development.
  • Experience of “end to end” brand leadership including local market and (ideally) some exposure to a regional/global team.
  • Comfortable navigating the “big picture”, as well as “rolling sleeves up” and getting into the details to make things happen.
  • Highly capable strategic thinker, adept at influencing a senior leadership team to make critical decisions.
  • Ready to operate with a high level pace and personal accountability, with a strong bias for action.
  • Strong commercial capability, able to lead conversations on P&L.
  • Able to analyse and derive insights from different sources of consumer and retail data.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity where you don’t have all the data.
  • Strong virtual working and influencing skills.
  • Skilled at navigating dynamics with teams in different markets and time zones.
  • Direct experience working in or closely with US market is a plus, but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Lead market landscape and opportunity assessments to define “where to play” priorities across markets and more detailed “how to win” execution priorities for Premier Foods brands in Breakfast and other whitespace categories.
  • Design and deliver successful launch plans in priority markets – navigating projects through internal Gate process, as well as supporting local market teams to successfully sell-in and land our brands with impact.
  • Work closely with Insights and local market teams to understand the consumer & retailer landscape.
  • Partner with R&D and manufacturing teams to tailor product, packaging and other aspects of proposition for target markets.
  • Coordinate commercial and operations teams to ensure commercially and technically viable plans for launch in each market.
  • Lead senior management reviews at each stage of the journey – from initial strategy alignment, through any “test market” executions and learning plans, to full market rollout and ongoing delivery.
  • Develop and support a direct report within your team (Brand Manager).
