Description

About Auto One Group

Auto One Group is a national automotive aftermarket parts and accessories network, with franchises, corporate-owned retail and trade stores, and an online store serving customers across Australia. Our marketing team drives strategy and execution for campaigns, LAM, content, digital, eCommerce, customer support and loyalty programs across the network.

About the role

This is a Marketing Coordinator position. You'll own admin and team coordination, reporting preparation and asset management, and work alongside the team on brand, campaigns, content, social, loyalty, eCommerce, events and store communications. You'll get exposure to a full marketing operation. We carry a lot of responsibility across a fast-moving team with big plans, and your impact will be in helping us execute well on all of it.

You'll have core responsibilities you own and manage day-to-day. In addition, retail marketing can be seasonal and we run major projects across the year, so your focus can shift with what the team is working on. You'll work independently, get things done, and stay flexible. This role gives you real exposure across retail and eCommerce marketing, and the automotive aftermarket industry.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and respond to marketing, customer service and loyalty program inboxes; handle store, franchisee and customer queries, triage and escalate where needed
  • Support campaign and LAM logistics: chase vendors, manage quotes, timelines and production schedules
  • Own project tracking and keep the team's boards current, working closely with the campaign team on status and progress
  • Gather and collate data across platforms for reporting; prepare spreadsheets and maintain dashboards and trackers
  • Source quotes, manage invoices and spend tracking
  • Manage brand and product assets across digital platforms; keep imagery and brand guidelines accessible and up-to-date
  • Support rollout of major brand and loyalty initiatives across the network: coordinate asset ordering and delivery to stores, keep files and records accurate, manage follow-ups and escalations
  • Coordinate marketing events across the business and in stores: liaise with the design team on artwork, manage forms and surveys, and handle logistics
  • Support content publishing, email campaigns and blog scheduling; liaise with suppliers to confirm product details and ensure accuracy
  • Monitor social media for reviews, mentions and comments; flag issues that need team attention
  • Draft internal communications and bulletins
  • Provide phone relief and cover during peak periods and team absences
  • Provide flexible support across the team and business where needed most

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in a marketing coordinator, marketing assistant or similar support role
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as CRM, CMS or project management tools; we'll train you on ours
  • Organised and detail-oriented; you keep things on track, manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball, and aren't shy about chasing the team when something needs doing
  • Comfortable and proactive in a support and coordination role; you take pride in doing things properly
  • Independent problem-solver; you work from clear direction but don't need constant hand-holding
  • Good written and verbal communication; you handle stakeholder queries professionally and are willing to take phone calls and provide phone relief
  • Collaborative and flexible; you adapt as priorities shift and support what the team needs
  • Comfortable learning multiple platforms and systems; you're willing to pick things up
  • A love of cars is always a bonus - but what matters is reliability, organisation, and comfort with variety

The Details

  • Location: Castle Hill. You'll need to be Sydney-based and able to commute
  • Office Days Requirement: Hybrid, 3 days per week in office (Mon, Tue, Thu)
  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Working Rights: Full Australian working rights required; sponsorship is not available
