THE OPPORTUNITY

BlueScope Building Components is looking for Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales, Marketing & Innovation Team based in Mascot, NSW. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
As a valued member of the team, you’ll provide day-to-day marketing support to the Marketing Manager and the team, whilst also working independently on various marketing and sales initiatives. You’ll collaborate strategically with key stakeholders and customers in developing and executing marketing segment plans, including the planning and co-ordination of events, tradeshows, and customer in-store merchandising displays.

Responsibilities

As someone who enjoys the process of planning and executing events and projects from conception to completion both individually and in collaboration with key stakeholders, you will also:

  • gain an in-depth understanding of our product range and utilise your knowledge to plan, create, and execute marketing initiatives in-line with segment and brand objectives
  • be a trusted brand custodian with the ability to influence marketing, segment and communications plans from preparation to implementation
  • collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders (such as retailers and distributors) for co-operative marketing initiatives, ensuring aligned brand representation and customer satisfaction
  • manage and nurture relationships with national industry partnerships, including the planning, execution and reporting of marketing and sales activations including events
  • develop and refine internal and external communications, including email marketing, newsletters, conferences and events, cooperative marketing efforts with customers, and local area promotional activities
  • coordinate the production and distribution of our sales support materials for relevant customers, providing accurate reporting and updates
