Job Summary:
We firmly believe that empowered and engaged people are the keys to success. In this role, you will support creation, delivery and evolution of the Northern Lights Fiber brand under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager, supported by the NLF leadership. What does that mean? Lots of space to develop and refine marketing campaigns. Support from leadership to challenge the status-quo and increase our presence in the market. Leaning into grassroots, hyper-local events and tactics across all mediums. You are executing the Marketing plan and know how to deliver awareness, consideration, and growth; we will guide you along the journey.

What you will be doing:

  • Support with development and delivery of the marketing calendar and holistic marketing communications plan
  • Support product launches, collaborating with the team across all omni-channel touchpoints including all owned, earned and paid media
  • Develop copy and collateral to support CFOC and NLF objectives
  • Figure out what works, what doesn’t, and constantly find ways to improve results
  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies, that is engaging, measurable, and customizable by platform, objective and audience, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts
  • Execute on a social media strategy, content planning and reporting
  • Cultivate partnerships to increase visibility, leveraging aligned opportunities for driving awareness and traffic
  • Implement demand generation tactics, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and landing page optimization
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, including lead generation, conversions, and ROI, to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the design team to create compelling marketing assets that align with the company’s brand

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years brand marketing strategy, planning and communications experience; telecommunications experience highly preferred.
  • A passion for improving rural connectivity through a growth mindset.
  • Someone who plays well in a collaborative team setting - you can gracefully take and provide constructive feedback, enjoy working with others, and believe that the best idea should win.
  • A good mix of creativity and delivery - you can design and build a campaign while also following through on the execution.
  • Someone who understands how to deliver results at each stage of the marketing funnel.
  • A strong aesthetic sense and ability to drive and maintain brand aesthetic, with highly-detailed and organized nature.
  • Solid grasp of social media and digital strategy - including SEO.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights and engagement tactics.
  • Strong English and copywriting skills.
  • Experience with and passion for creative development and effectively briefing in and working with creative teams.

Schedule:

  • This role is Monday-Friday, standard business hours, on-site typically Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
