Basic Function: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support established objectives of the corporation. This includes Traditional Marketing and Digital/Online Promotions and Content. This involves working with internal teams and external service providers to design, coordinate, schedule and implement marketing plans per budget guidelines.

GENERAL MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with General Manager to identify specific Marketing needs, objectives and measurement
· Work with General Manager to conduct Market Research and Analysis to support the above
· Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities (Habits, trends, preferences)
· Establish market segmentation and targeted campaigns.
· Work with General Manager to develop budgets and reporting systems for Marketing Programs
· Design and provide regular reports to Management to measure the effectiveness of Marketing Programs
· Request quotes and develop schedules for Marketing Programs
· Identify and analyze competitors in the market
ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, co-ordinates, implements and/or manages a wide variety of marketing initiatives that can change annually i.e. Home Makeover, Billboards, Classroom Refresh
· Co-ordinates with National Office on their marketing programs distribution
· Selects local content to post on social media platforms
· Designs the social media posts
· Creates e-blast content for local initiatives
· Creates content for digital TV’s located in the store and uploads content to the digital TV’s
· Creates web banners to support marketing programs when needed
· Works with the Retail store on signage needs
· Participates in the planning and coordination of off-site events
· Manages the annual on-site trade show with our vendors
Establishes/maintains relationships with the various media outlets
· Sends out a regular Marketing memo to all staff
· Manages the promotional products inventory
· Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
· Create and Update Job Manual for the position
· Develop other marketing initiatives as needed
