  • With a creative background, you will have great all-round marketing skills including audience development, digital marketing, content development, social media management, CRM, copywriting, commissioning design, project management and events support.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to track, report and evaluate campaign results.
  • Experience of working within a cultural institution or creative sector is also highly desirable for this role.
    You will be able to work in a hybrid way, typically being on-site for 2 days every week.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role. Based in the Creative and Culture marketing team, you will be responsible for the effective planning and delivery of a range of business as usual and project specific marketing activity.
Creative and Culture team
As part of the delivery of the Road to 2030 and positioning Manchester Met as a leader in creative excellence, this team is responsible for the marketing of the university’s creative and cultural portfolio with a particular focus on engaging with stakeholders for partnership and research purposes. The team are also responsible for the reputation and profile of the university’s creative sub-brands which include Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester School of Art, and Manchester School of Digital Arts (SODA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the marketing of the university’s Creative sub-brands both internally and externally.
  • Support in the development of rich content to raise the profile of the creative offer.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, supporting with the management of a diverse portfolio of marketing activity.
  • Work collegiately with a range of colleagues across the university.
  • Act as a brand guardian for the creative sub-brands.
  • Overseeing the social media and content plan for the creative sub-brands.
