This is an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to help promote our stories, spaces and taonga. From exhibitions and events to retail and commercial operations, your work will help us connect with existing audiences and engage new ones.
In this role, you’ll help coordinate, create and deliver marketing material across our community engagement activity and commercial operations—developing plans, creating content, coordinating social media posts, and collaborating with teams across the organisation. As Marketing Coordinator you’ll work closely with the Community Engagement and Learning leadership team and Specialist Advisors to develop promotional plans and content that supports programmes, events and services.
What we’re looking for
We’re after someone with a solid foundation in marketing, communication and design, who is creative, organised, and happy juggling multiple projects at once.

The Partnerships and Commissions branch of DIA is responsible for a diverse portfolio of national institutions, commissions, Executive and community-based services. The branch oversees and supports the National Library and Archives New Zealand, Hāpai Hapori – Community Operations, and Ministerial Services who provide a range of services to the Prime Minister and the Executive. The branch oversees various commissions including royal commissions, ministerial inquiries and those established through legislation (Local Government Commission, Gambling Commission).
