About the role

Marketing Coordinator to run the marketing function solo. This is genuine ownership — you'll shape how Lifewood sounds and looks everywhere customers meet the business, working closely with the leadership team to ensure the story told matches the quality of the work. The role spans three areas: digital & content, brand & comms, and events & trade.

Key responsibilities

• Own the marketing calendar end-to-end
• Create and manage content across social, email (HubSpot), and web
• Coordinate photography and video that does justice to the work — completed jobs, showroom features, the finer details
• Keep brand consistent and genuine across every touchpoint — signage, price guides, quotes, customer documents
• Represent Lifewood at trade events and build real relationships with builders and architects
• Support new product and service launches as the business grows
• Track what's working, and be honest about what isn't
• Manage the marketing budget and vendor relationships

About you

• 3-5 years' marketing experience, ideally with some sole-charge or small-team experience
• Genuine range across digital, brand, and events — an all-rounder, not a specialist
• Strong writing instincts and a good eye — you know the difference between polished and generic
• Experience with a CRM/marketing platform (HubSpot highly regarded)
• The confidence to run your own patch without needing constant direction
• Experience in trade, building products, or manufacturing is a plus, but not essential — what matters more is care for the craft
