POSITION SUMMARY

Flags Unlimited is Canada’s largest flag and banner company. We make over 1 million flags each year and have a thriving custom printing division.
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of our marketing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product Development, and Creative—to help plan and implement campaigns that elevate our brand, engage our target audiences, and ultimately drive growth. This is an ideal position for those who are passionate about marketing, eager to learn, and ready to take initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role (co-op, internship, or entry-level experience considered).
· Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, email marketing, basic graphic design, content management systems).
· Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and paid advertising is an asset.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
· Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

· Assist in the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, email, and events.
· Support the coordination of content creation, including blog posts, newsletters, website updates, press releases, and promotional materials.
· Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and external agencies to ensure cohesive and compelling brand messaging.
· Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms; make recommendations for improvement.
· Maintain and update the company’s website, social media channels, and marketing databases to ensure information is accurate and current.
