Description
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. Marketing Coordinator is the key producer of materials that support Gensler’s business development efforts. They work under the direction of office leadership, senior staff, and marketing leaders to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral / thought leadership used to help the firm win work. Marketers also support the general activities of the office/regional marketing studio, such as strategy, positioning, storytelling, photography, graphic design, and knowledge management. Your Role Use your passion for service and attention to detail to help the Gensler team bring designs to life. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support Gensler’s business development efforts by creating a variety of marketing materials. Working closely with office leaders and design teams, you will prepare proposals and contribute to winning projects. They also support a wide range of marketing activities for individual offices and the APME (Asia-Pacific-Middle East) region, including public relations, storytelling, project photography, graphic design, and knowledge management. What You Will Do Marketing Preparing project proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials Creating project case studies and summaries (in Japanese and English) Updating project materials, resumes, and image libraries, as well as managing resources Supporting business development efforts based on a thorough understanding of Gensler’s portfolio, practice areas, and overall business Communicating with regional and global teams Other marketing-related tasks as needed PR/Communications Identifying and coordinating PR opportunities, such as publications, media appearances, and external speaking engagements Creating and publishing articles and graphics for social media, newsletters, and other platforms Writing and updating website content Planning, coordinating, and executing client events Supporting content creation to help secure internal and external awards Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience 5+ years of practical experience in marketing, PR, or communications at a design or architectural firm Excellent writing and graphic design skills Proficiency in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level or higher), including strong writing skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat) and Keynote Skills in photography, video production, and editing is preferred Life at Gensler We encourage our employees to lead a healthy and balanced life.
