POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator position requires a customer service-focused, high-energy, creative person to manage ongoing local restaurant marketing (LRM) initiatives, guest review assessment and response, and operations-facing communications, while continuing to grow Hofman Hospitality Group’s social media presence and create and execute planned social media content.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Prior experience creating photographic and video content, as a creator on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English with excellent grammar and proofreading skills
  • Strong ability to think creatively and translate ideas/proposals into digital content pieces
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose inadequacies and inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a valuable, adaptable member of a team
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Willingness to travel and participate in on-site activations as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year of experience in customer service and/or in social media marketing in business
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and replying to all online guest concern reviews (GMB, Yelp, etc.)
  • Facilitating LRM initiatives such as student achievement and fundraiser programs
  • Assisting with managing and updating digital listings (GMB, Yelp, Apple Maps, etc.)
  • Creating monthly marketing guides for each brand
  • Helping maintain website content
  • Participating in, and at times, coordinating, off-site events
  • Supporting the marketing team in curating, creating and editing content promoting brand awareness for all Hofman Hospitality Group brands (Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Hof’s Hut Restaurant & Bakery, and Saint & Second), which includes:
  • Creating content pieces weekly (social media, photography, video, or other media)
  • Working with the marketing manager to develop and schedule content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Copywriting social media posts for marketing manager review
  • Monitoring social media accounts daily, engaging with followers, and responding to comments, DMs and reviews
  • Tracking and analyzing social performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Staying current on trends, platform updates, and social best practices to help grow reach and engagement
  • Assisting with writing pieces, shooting and editing videos, and creating interactive media elements that share marketing content ideas in innovative and engaging ways
  • Participating in the development of content strategy across all brands and all digital channels
  • Supporting brand development and awareness using various marketing mediums

  • Periodic travel to restaurant locations is required, including local and regional travel. While on-site, team members must adhere to all company safety policies and may be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves or slip-resistant footwear, depending on the nature of the work and environment
