POSITION OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic Marketing Coordinator team! Your pivotal role ensures our brand remains strong and community oriented in each local region. Shaping our regional partnerships and relationships with customers, you’ll craft memorable experiences in-store and out in the community, while driving our marketing objectives and amplifying the impact of our events and initiatives. This position will oversee both Calgary Downtown and Calgary Shawnessy locations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or acquired a diploma/degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Previous experience in a marketing coordinator / event planning role or transferable position
  • Adaptable team player with a track record of dependability, accountability, and effective collaboration
  • A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas, think outside the box, and develop innovative marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary

EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing: 1 year (required)
Responsibilities
  • Ticketed event management: Create and monitor Showpass/Eventbrite events, track ticket sales, and provide regular reports.
  • Signage and POS coordination: request and assign new signage or POS materials and facilitate store requests.
  • Decor team coordination: Organize decor teams for events, manage decor budget with Marketing Director.
  • Staff communication: Maintain open channels for staff input and feedback on events and initiatives.
  • GM and AGM collaboration: Gather insights and feedback from General Managers and Assistant General Managers for upcoming initiatives.
  • High-level proposal creation: analyze market trends to develop proposals for marketing campaigns or events, incorporating innovative ideas, target audience, and expected outcomes.
  • Marketing Director collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Director to refine proposals before execution.
  • Campaign execution: Implement approved campaigns with the marketing team, ensuring all elements are effective.
  • Wrap-up reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports analyzing campaign results and identifying opportunities for improvement.
