QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships included) in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously

ABOUT THE ROLE

Moravian University Dining (managed by Sodexo) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the Marketing Manager in executing a wide range of strategic marketing efforts that promote campus dining services, drive student engagement, and elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms.
The Marketing Coordinator functions as a key team player and will assist in developing content, managing social media, executing events, and collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager, interns, and dining staff, while also coordinating campus-wide initiatives, analyzing performance data, and supporting dining sales growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in marketing, strong organizational skills, and a passion for food and hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Development and Event Execution

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to brainstorm and develop creative campaigns aimed at increasing student engagement and dining sales
  • Assist in planning, managing, and executing on-campus dining events, tablings, pop-ups, and activations
  • Support event logistics, including setup, promotion, and on-site engagement

Social Media Management

  • Schedule, publish, and manage content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube using Sprout Social
  • Analyze social media performance to help adjust strategy
  • Ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for each platform

Content Creation and Design

  • Design digital and print marketing materials for promotions and events (static graphics for social, digital banners, flyers, posters, signage, apparel, etc.)
  • Capture photo and video content at dining events and campus activations
  • Uphold Moravian Dining brand standards in tone, style, and visual identity across the board

Website and Email Marketing

  • Assist in editing and updating the Moravian University Dining website
  • Draft and send monthly newsletters highlighting upcoming events and campaigns

Intern Collaboration and Team Coordination

  • Help lead and support marketing interns during brainstorming sessions, content planning, and more
  • Provide creative direction and feedback on deliverables when needed
