Northern Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Co-ordinator. Working at our Carlisle office you will become an integral part of our talented, dynamic team, helping to grow our business.
We are an independent local security services business committed to nurturing and developing the people within our Company.
In this key role, you will help shape and execute our marketing strategy, directly contributing to the growth of our brand and sales.
Digital Marketing: This encompasses a range of critical digital channels and tactics, including:
Social Media Marketing: Develop and implement engaging content strategies across key social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram). This includes creating high-quality, platform-specific content (text, images, videos, stories), managing content calendars, fostering online communities, analysing performance metrics, staying ahead of social media trends, and planning, executing, and managing paid social media campaigns, tracking and reporting on KPIs.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Optimising all marketing copy (website content, social media posts, email newsletters, etc.) for search engines to drive organic visibility and traffic.
Website Management: Maintain and update the company website, creating and editing website content (pages, blog posts, landing pages), collaborating with developers on website improvements, and ensuring optimal website performance and user experience.

Content Marketing: Creating compelling content across various formats to attract and engage target audiences. This includes:

  • Copywriting: Crafting persuasive and engaging copy for a variety of marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, email newsletters, award submission brochures, customer communication documents and press releases.
  • Client Case Study Development: Travel to client locations to gather content and develop compelling case studies that demonstrate the value and impact of Northern Security’s services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a marketing role, with a strong focus on digital marketing
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices
  • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
