Are marketing and partnerships close to your heart? Are you a results-driven doer who genuinely enjoys testing new ideas? Do you write and speak Norwegian fluently, with a deep understanding of the Norwegian market and culture? If you tick these boxes, we are thrilled that our paths have crossed. You could be the perfect fit to help us build one of the largest audiobook services in Norway as our next Marketing Coordinator!
At BookBeat, our ambition is to grow rapidly and become one of the top audiobook services in Norway. To succeed, we are building a world-class team that attracts new users and strengthens our brand awareness daily. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our Norwegian team, with a focus on partnerships, affiliate marketing, and campaign coordination – but you’ll also support other areas depending on your skills and interests.
This role is perfect for someone who is in the early stages of their career and wants to take their next steps in a fun, dynamic, and fast-paced environment where they can make a real impact – both in the short and long term! To succeed in this role, you are curious, driven, and passionate about developing both yourself, the team you work in, and BookBeat as a whole. You have a genuine interest in understanding and creating marketing that drives growth – a mix of broad brand-building activities and direct conversion tactics, regardless of channel.
We believe you have a relevant education and/or up to a couple of years’ experience in a similar role. However, having the right personality, skills, and drive to develop within growth-driven marketing is key to us, and we therefore place a lot of emphasis on personal suitability.
As our next colleague, you will be part of our Norwegian marketing team but will also work closely with our sharp marketing and sales team filled with marketers, designers, and analysts. You report directly to our Chief Business Development Officer. Moreover, you will also work closely with external partners – such as agencies, consumer services, publishers, and influencer networks – so strong communication skills are essential. Your primary workplace will be our HQ in Stockholm, but the role will also involve trips to Norway to meet local partners.
ABOUT US
In 2015, we began our journey towards the goal of offering Europe’s leading service for digital books and in 2016, we launched to the public. Now, about 9 years since our broad launch, BookBeat is used by over 900 000 users every month. We are an ever-growing company within the Bonnier Group and all members who join our journey have the possibility to make an impact on our development – both in the short and long run.
Today, Team BookBeat consists of 160 curious and committed doers. Are you interested in becoming part of our team? Wonderful! While our employees are experts at many different areas, we have four core values uniting all of us:
Be great at what you do
Share what you know
Curiosity for our users and us
Build Team BookBeat
In other words: we want our employees to continuously deep dive into and develop within their area(s) of expertise, but also to share that knowledge with their colleagues – we’re all in this together and cooperate (most often a lot) on a daily basis! We’re also looking for employees who are genuinely curious about our users, journey and organization, a curiosity that drives us to always test out new things in our service and to let our users show us if we’re on the right track. Last but definitely not least we want all our employees to contribute to the everyday cooperations and the wellbeing of Team BookBeat – as already mentioned, we’re in this together and we want our team to be healthy and happy at work, and we all contribute to this in different ways
Building, managing, and developing partnerships and affiliate collaborations to drive reach and growth.
Contributing to the planning and execution of other marketing activities in the Norwegian market, including influencer collaborations, podcast partnerships, and broader sales-driven campaigns.
