Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Premiere Pro experience a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of various marketing platforms, and channels, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to multi-task and tackle challenges such as shifting priorities.
  • Must have a high level of creativity.
  • Ability to use various types of cameras and production equipment, including DSLRs, lighting equipment and microphones.
  • Occasional travel and after-hours/weekend event attendance may be required.
  • Construction industry knowledge a plus

Responsibilities
  • Fully support B&I’s Strategic Marketing Plan initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of external and internal marketing programs such as email, events, social media, digital and print advertising, employee belonging and community engagement.
  • Conceptualize and design graphics, advertisements, and other collateral to promote the B&I brand.
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels.
  • Obtain and edit photo and video assets and maintain digital asset management platform.
  • Generate content and maintain active social presence (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Viva Engage etc.).
  • Coordinate participation in sponsored community and non-profit events, including managing schedule, registrations, and ordering and distribution of marketing collateral.
  • Submit and track execution of website updates/changes requested and approved by Marketing Manager.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination of digital advertising as well as maintain digital-campaign performance analytics.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, community and business partners, and construction industry organizations.
