JOB OVERVIEW

The role of the Marketing Coordinator is an integral part in Onvigo’s marketing team, responsible for coordinating and supporting the execution of brand deliverables for an innovative and growing host travel agency. Key responsibilities include driving brand awareness, social engagement, web content on consumer-facing websites, and supporting Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) members. You will support the team with organizing and executing daily marketing tasks, creating web content to drive supplier sales, responding to ITA member website and marketing support tickets, coordinating departmental projects, executing campaign plans, liaising with external marketing partners, tracking performance metrics and reporting, and delivering marketing assets.
We’re seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can also work effectively independently. You should be organized, solution-focused, and proactive with a hands-on approach to getting things done.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in a Marketing related discipline. Travel experience a definite asset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape, metrics, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Canva, and the ability to learn new technologies. An understanding of generative AI an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in creating and delivering webinars and marketing pitch presentations.
  • CRM and database experience is considered an asset.
  • Content Management System and experience with website content creation required.
  • Skilled in website content creation and SEO optimization.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Strong collaboration skills, capable of working across departments, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Skills in navigating ambiguity and resolving conflicts effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate brand documents including work back schedules, project plans, content plans, and standard operating procedure documents using project management tools.
  • Support seamless execution of brand deliverables.
  • Develop and manage strategic campaigns for social media channels including social listening for brand reputation and crisis management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to deliver partnership deliverables.
  • Support sourcing and managing external marketing vendors.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor initiatives, sharing observations and implications with the team.
  • Create engaging presentations, copy, and marketing content from design to delivery while ensuring brand compliance, and supplier/ industry advertising regulations.
  • Enhance consumer website features, user experience (UX), and search engine optimization (SEO) using effective SEO tactics, while creating related training materials.
  • Assist with website launches, updates, and troubleshooting. Regularly update content and address website-related issues with our solution provider.
  • Develop and lead professional development sessions on websites, social media and marketing tactics.
  • Create newsletters, training webinars, video content to support ITA members and marketing goals.
  • Other duties may be requested and assigned.
