This role is ideal for a candidate looking to develop a career in marketing and communications within the architecture and built environment sector.   Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, the role involves coordinating award submissions, supporting conference and event attendance, updating website content, and providing ad-hoc support across all areas of marketing and communications.     Key responsibilities include:     Awards & Submissions * Coordinate award submissions including: * Managing submission schedules, deadlines and entry requirements * Liaising with awards account managers * Gathering project information, imagery and supporting material from project teams * Drafting, editing and formatting submission text * Designing and laying out submissions * Uploading submissions and maintaining records of outcomes * Maintaining and updating the regional and global awards trackers and calendars, coordinating submissions with other regions where applicable.   Events & Conferences * Support the coordination of conference and event participation, including: * Managing conferences calendar * Delegate bookings, registrations and confirmations * Coordinating attendance with business leaders * Preparing required copy and coordinating preparation of marketing content * Developing presentations for company speakers    Content & Copywriting * Assist with the regular updating of the practice’s website and content libraries, including: * Editing, updating and uploading content, including project case studies, news articles and staff profiles. * Editing and proofreading text to ensure clarity, consistency and tone of voice * Selecting imagery that best showcases our projects designs and people     Marketing Administration & Team Support * Provide ongoing support across all areas of external and internal marketing and communications * Help maintain marketing databases, image libraries (Open Asset) and document templates (Inductions, Conference Presentations, Company Overviews). * Support organisation of monthly recurring marketing events and meetings * Assist with the preparation of presentations and promotional materials * Support monitoring of website mailboxes and forwarding relevant enquires to global departments * Work collaboratively with Business Development and project teams and senior staff to gather information and meet deadlines * Liaison with PR agencies across EMEA to ensure timely flow of information and materials   Key requirements include:   * Strong written communication and copywriting skills * Good visual communications skills with ability to create presentations that align with brand guidelines * Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); a good eye for design and familiarity with content management systems and Adobe InDesign is desirable but not essential * Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines * Proactive, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team * Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability * Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or a related field   About the Studio   Our Putney studio, which is also our EMEA Headquarters, is located on the banks of the River Thames, a short walk from Putney High Street and with excellent travel connections.
