Description

About The Role

You'll keep campaign work moving and know the status of everything. Practically, that breaks into four parts.

Execution. Producing and publishing marketing work across our channels: email campaigns, social content, support on paid media and SEO initiatives, plus the sales collateral, one-pagers and presentation decks our B2B side runs on. You'll write some of it, brief designers on the rest, schedule it, and quality-check it before it goes out. You'll also be one of the people making sure messaging holds together across brands and channels rather than drifting.

Coordination. Campaigns touch multiple brands, internal teams, vendors and external partners. You'll own campaign and content calendars, hold deliverables to timelines, chase the pieces that are late, and make sure nobody is waiting on something they didn't know they needed. This also covers the logistics side: industry events, trade shows and webinars, sponsorship and partnership obligations, vendor communication, invoices and budget tracking. When an activation comes with a list of contractual deliverables, you own the checklist and see it through.

Measurement. Pulling performance data from several platforms, building campaign and channel reports, and telling us what the numbers mean. You won't be building the analytics stack, but you'll be close enough to the data to have an opinion about what to do differently next time.

Organization. Keeping assets, approvals, timelines and results findable, so that six months from now anyone can tell what ran, when, and how it did.

The mix shifts with what's in market. Some months are content-heavy, some are event-heavy.

The consumer and business exposure is the real draw. Most coordinator roles give you one audience and one channel set; this one gives you both, at national scale, working with some of the biggest brands in Canada, with data and research assets that most marketing teams don't have access to. It's a strong foundation for whatever you specialize in next.

This is a hybrid/remote position, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, however preferential consideration may be given to individuals who can report to Rentsync’s office 2 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce and publish marketing work across channels, including email campaigns and social content
  • Support paid media and SEO initiatives
  • Produce B2B sales collateral, one-pagers and presentation decks
  • Write copy directly and brief designers on the remainder
  • Schedule campaign work and quality-check it before it goes out
  • Maintain consistent messaging across brands and channels
  • Own campaign and content calendars
  • Hold deliverables to timelines and follow up on late pieces
  • Keep stakeholders informed of what's needed from them, before it becomes blocking
  • Manage logistics for industry events, trade shows and webinars
  • Fulfill sponsorship and partnership obligations, owning the deliverables checklist for each activation
  • Handle vendor communication, invoices and budget tracking
  • Pull performance data from multiple platforms
  • Build campaign and channel reports
  • Interpret results and recommend changes for future campaigns
  • Maintain assets, approvals, timelines and results in a findable state, so past campaign activity and performance can be reconstructed months later

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong, functional writing: copy that sounds like a person and gets read
  • Comfort speaking up in meetings and dealing directly with vendors and partners
  • Ability to run several concurrent projects against real deadlines without being reminded
  • Genuine attention to detail: a wrong logo, dead link or subject-line typo should never get through
  • Working familiarity with digital marketing tools: email platforms, social schedulers and analytics dashboards, plus some exposure to Google Ads and Meta Ads (training provided on the internal stack)
  • A bias toward action: willing to ask a couple of sharp questions and start rather than wait for a fully spec'd brief

Essential Qualifications

  • One to three years in marketing, communications or a related field, agency or in-house
