Description The Marketing Coordinator & Retail Associate position is a hybrid role that combines boutique retail service with digital marketing support for the Gage Lake Life Store. This individual will play a key part in creating exceptional customer experiences in-store while also supporting content creation, social media, email campaigns, and marketing analytics. This full-time position will pay $18-20 per hour based on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES In-Store Retail: Greet and assist customers with product selection, styling advice, and gift recommendations. Operate the cash register, process transactions, and manage returns/exchanges. Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards. Deliver a friendly, boutique shopping experience that reflects the Lake Life brand. Co-manage the stores Third Party Sales Platform (Poshmark), including capturing and uploading content, create product listings, follow up with interactions, package and ship items sold, manage Poshmark inventory reports and follow through with accounting team as items sell. Social Media & Content Creation: Work with Lake Life Store Buyers to plan, coordinate, and execute photoshoots. Capture a balance between product and lifestyle-focused images. Assist in creating shot lists and, for larger photoshoots, creating an inspiration or mood board a minimum of one week prior to the scheduled photoshoot. Assist in the pulling, prepping, and restocking of merchandise needed for each photoshoot. Communicate well and build relationships with volunteer models through clarifying photoshoot details, boost confidence and ensure fit and accessories make sense for each look, follow through with coupon compensation and handwritten thank you notes. Edit and prepare content for use across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Plan, schedule, and publish posts, reels, and stories with management approval. Develop and maintain the monthly content calendar. Routinely engage with followers, local businesses, and brands we carry on all social platforms. (Likes, Comments, Shares). Photo and Video Editing: Edit and format visual content to maintain brand guidelines and style across various platforms. Perform color correction, cropping, resizing, and retouching as needed for photos and videos. Utilize photo and video editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro. Digital Marketing: Write and publish blogs to support SEO and seasonal campaigns. Build and send email campaigns and automations using Klaviyo. Update website product listings, images, and collections on Shopify. Assist with copywriting and graphic design for web, email, and social media. Analytics & Marketing Support: Track and report on social media, email, and website performance. Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and sales. Support the marketing team with additional projects as capacity allows. Events & Community Engagement: Assist with the setup, promotion, and execution of store and community events. Capture live content during events for social media. Represent the Lake Life Store brand with enthusiasm and professionalism. Digital Asset Management and Cataloging: Organize and maintain a robust photo and video library for print and digital content. Implement efficient cataloging and tagging systems for easy retrieval of media assets. Ensure proper archiving and storage of digital files according to organizational standards. Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on content strategy, brainstorming ideas, and creating visual content aligned with marketing goals. Assist in preparing and formatting content for different platforms like websites, social media, and email marketing. QUALIFICATIONS Retail, customer service, or boutique experience preferred. Motivation and drive to capture the best photos and videos, and create outstanding marketing content to promote Lake Life Store. Strong skills in social media platforms, photo/video editing, and content creation. At least 2+ years of previous social media/digital marketing experience. Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable balancing customer-facing work with digital/creative projects. Flexible, creative, and able to work independently or collaboratively. WORK SCHEDULE This is a full-time position and would work 20 hours per week in a store associate role and 20 hours per week in a marketing role. Nights and weekends will be required as needed.
