We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Coordinator (Part-time) to support our marketing efforts, ensure brand consistency, and help us connect with our community and guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or coordination role, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
· Proficiency with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and basic design software (Canva/Photoshop).
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
· Content & Communications: Review weekly newsletters and social media calendars; manage guest inquiries through the main inbox; keep online profiles (Google, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Tourism Harrison) accurate and up to date.
· Design & Branding: Create on-brand materials such as posters, menus, brochures, signage, and social media graphics; ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
· Campaign & Event Support: Coordinate photoshoots, influencer/media visits, and promotional activities; assist in marketing resort events, weddings, golf tournaments, and seasonal promotions.
· Marketing Coordination: Liaise with external marketing partners, venders, and internal teams to ensure campaigns, promotions, and department requests are managed smoothly.
· Reporting & Research: Prepare monthly guest feedback reports (Google Reviews, Expedia, Restaurant, Pro Shop, Front Desk), highlight recurring issues, and suggest improvements; conduct research on competitor offerings and new promotional opportunities.
· Administration & Digital Updates: Manage Sandpiper’s online shop, support marketing budget tracking, update website content, and maintain storage of marketing assets and data.
· Community & Partnerships: Coordinate with local businesses for cross-promotions, partnerships, and joint marketing opportunities.
